This is my newest truck. The difference between this 1989 Jimmy and my old 1977 Blazer is more than just 12 years! Allow me to explain. After researching what year Blazer or Jimmy I wanted to purchase as my second truck I discovered that, in my opinion, the 1988-1991 model years were the best. Why? So many changes were made to these years that it made my '77 Blazer look very out of date. Carburetor is now gone, hello fuel injection. The paint is now the base coat/clear coat system. I now have cruise control, tilt wheel, power windows, power door locks, A/C, AM/FM stereo cassette AND, you won't believe it, my new Jimmy has carpeting and a headliner!!! Apparently in 1977 GM didn't feel it necessary to include these "features". |

This truck is great for hauling my toys or when buying new projects. In this picture I just got back from picking up a 1978 Fiat X1/9. On the front of the truck is an 8000 LB. Warn winch just in case. |
